Shipping, Return & Exchange Policy

Shipping Policy

The Jewel Box provides free shipping for all orders within Singapore and abroad. Shipping is fulfilled across the globe via FedEx International Priority. It takes between 2-5 working days to deliver your order, depending on where it is to be delivered.

Customs & Import Duties, Taxes, and Other Shipping-Related Charges

There may be charges such as custom fees, import duties, taxes etc levied by the local custom office of the recipient country, and these will be borne by the customer.

Resizing

The Jewel Box offers free resizing of rings up to 2 levels within the first 60 days of purchase. Additional charges may be applied for resizing beyond two levels. Shipping fees and related costs of sending the order back to the customer shall be borne by the customer.

Return and Exchange

In any circumstance where you are not satisfied with your order, you can simply return it to us or exchange it within 7 business days of its delivery.

Your order is eligible for exchange or return only if it is still unworn with its tag(s) still attached and original packaging intact.

Exchange items can only be dispatched after the returned order has been duly received and undergone a quality control check.

Furthermore, exchange orders received beyond the stated time limit are also subject to the availability of their replacements.

The whole return or exchange process may take up to four weeks. The Jewel Box reserves the right to deny any unreasonable requests for returns or exchanges.

Shipping fees and related costs of return or exchange orders will be borne by the customer, unless a return is for an order that was faulty or damaged on arrival.

It must be noted that for any further returns of exchanged orders, shipping and its related costs will again be borne by the customer.

Refunds will be made either in the form of a credit note or refunded back to your original payment source.

In situations where the replacement of the exchange order is of higher value, the customer is required to bear the cost difference.

Returning Faulty Orders

Any complaints regarding delivered orders that are faulty or damaged should be reported immediately through calling us at +65 6733 4100 or emailing us at bespoke@thejewelbox.com.

Faulty or damaged orders will only be accepted if they were delivered in that condition, or for any manufacturing defects, within a period of 7 Business Days post-delivery.

All orders returned as faulty or damaged will be inspected and are subject to quality checks.

The following conditions are not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Falling off of diamonds, gemstones and other precious stones due to any kind of negligence or inappropriate use and the lack of maintenance
  • Any kind of bending or deformation in the structure of the jewellery item as a result of mishandling or negligence
  • Discolouration of jewellery items because of consistent exposure to chemicals

All returns of faulty or damaged orders will be reviewed by The Jewel Box and we reserve the right to approve or deny them.

In cases where the returns are approved, The Jewel Box has the right to offer a full refund either in the form of credit notes or back towards your original payment source.
